Barcelona Finishing Drill

Set-up

4 cones are needed to make a square shape in front of the penalty area, as seen in the Images below.

Barcelona football finishing drill Description:

1. P1 plays a one-two with P2 with P2 moving to the left or right cone

2. P1 passes the ball to P3 (who has moved to the opposite side in relation to P2)

3. P3 lays the ball back for P2 (who has moved to support the play)

4. P2 shoots at the goal first time

Objectives:

  • Weight of pass
  • Concentration (correct movement)
  • First time finishing

Progression:

The progression is to simply add an extra pass to create more movement and passing combinations between more players.
