This drill is designed to work on speed, agility and explosive force that incorporates finishing practice.
Set-Up
- 4 small Cones (blue) set out in a line
- 4 hoops diagonally opposite
- Small hurdles followed by medium sized cones
- Balls placed with the coach & on the corner of the penalty and by-line
Description
The drill goes as follows:
- Shuttle run – going back and forth to each cone
- Jump into each cone (using 1 foot and finding balance before the next jump)
- Run around the red and blue cones
- 5 squats with a medicine ball
- 5 squats with a medicine ball and Jump over the hurdles (feet together) before zig-zag movemnt throgh the cones
- Sprint to receive a pass from the coach & finish the 1v1 with the GK
- Afer the 1v1, execute a 1 touch finish from the cross
